MW Design Studio is a boutique, full-service interior design firm that specializes in new construction homes, renovations, and full-scale furnishing projects. We create spaces that are timeless and tailored to your lifestyle. The Studio is open to the public and houses our design center which includes a retail component with home decor, accessories, and apparel.

MEET MORGAN

Hi, I’m Morgan, owner and lead designer at MW Design Studio. I was born and raised in Sandusky, Ohio and graduated with a Business Degree from Ohio University. After graduating, I moved to Chicago and worked in corporate America.

I spent 17 years gaining business experience in the corporate world, but the next chapter of my life allowed me to follow my true passion…the love of all things home. In 2013, my husband and I moved back to Ohio and built our first home in New Albany. A few years later, we moved into a nearby neighborhood where I renovated the kitchen and updated every room. Fast forward moving back to Sandusky. Our house was straight from the 80’s, we gutted the entire interior & exterior. I became obsessed with everything design and dedicated countless hours taking interior design courses. Shortly after, I launched MW Interior Styling and in 2022 opened my Brick-and-Mortar space, MW Design Studio.

My favorite color is black. I believe green is a neutral color. I am obsessed with candles – if you haven’t smelled our Oakmoss & Tobacco candle at the studio you are missing out (shameless plug). I am sarcastic as they come. I always sneeze in 3’s. My daughter, Sienna, is a real-life earth angel and she owns my heart. My husband, Chuck, never stops smiling and is my biggest cheerleader.

Now that you know a little about me, what's most important is that I have a strong work ethic. I am a perfectionist and will do whatever it takes to make sure each project runs smoothly and the end result is perfect for each individual client. I take pride in the work that we do because we truly listen to our homeowners, understand their needs and wants and become trusted advisors. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world, living my dream everyday by turning spaces into beautiful reflections of the people who live in them.

MEET MARCIA

Hi, I'm Marcia, co-designer to the ever so talented Morgan Wadding owner and founder of MW Design Studio. Happy to see you have stopped at our page. I am a proud native of the Orangemen. Born and raised in Syracuse, New York. My husband and I migrated to Ohio for his career back in 2009. In my spare time I am busy raising two beautiful young ladies. My love for anything interior started at a young age watching my mother pour her love into our 1890's farmhouse curating the perfect homestead. An opportunity to join the MW Design Team presented itself in 2022 and well the rest is history.

One of the things I love as a designer is seeing the approving look on a client's face knowing that we didn't spare a single detail transforming their once mundane project into a sanctuary they never want to leave. I have a true obsession for pillows and love seeing textures in the finishing touches so if you work with us don't be afraid of the word "wallpaper." To me, a home is not just a space you live in but a feeling you create.
